Preparing for a Snow Storm

Most of Ohio will see significant snowfall and ice this weekend (Jan 24th and Jan 25th) coupled with a return of frigid temperatures.  Trees with structural vulnerabilities are more susceptible to irreversible damage but even seemingly healthy trees are at the mercy of heavy snow, ice and high wind.

It is always best to identify potential issues BEFORE a storm hits and any damage occurs.  Routinely check for any cracks, signs of decay, leaning or uprooting trees or any limbs hanging over structures that could be damaged should the limbs come down.

Even with the best preparation, a major storm can take a toll on your trees.  Quick action can help prevent further damage.  Should your property be affected by the upcoming storm, give Charter Oaks a call to assess the damage and clean-up needed.  Stay Warm!

If you are concerned about trees on your property, we are happy to evaluate them! Call or text Charter Oaks at 614-848-6466 today for more information.
